McAfee Institute was founded in 2011 and operates as a state-approved institution certified by the Missouri Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development (DHEWD). Our certification programs are listed in the federal NICCS Education & Training Catalog, operated by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), and are approved through DoD COOL for all U.S. military branches — including the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and Space Force.

Programs approved through Missouri POST count toward continuing legal education (CLEE) credit for peace officers in the state. More than 2,500 professionals across law enforcement, intelligence, corporate investigations, and the military have completed our credentials.
