What payment methods do you accept?

How do the payment plans work?
You simply sign up for the payment plan of your choice. It bills month on the same day that you enroll on. Your first payment is due on enrollment.
What is the refund/cancelation policy?
Refunds & Cancelation Policy We offer a NO-Questions asked money back guarantee for 3 business days from the date you enroll in your program if you are not satisfied with your program for any reason under the below conditions.
To be eligible for a refund under our money back guarantee you MUST NOT have viewed more than 5% of your program and not have downloaded any of the course content. Additional non-returnable items: eBooks Digital Downloads
Refunds (if applicable) Once your refund request has been received, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund request. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 30 days.
CrimeLab Products: We want everyone to be happy with their purchase. Take a single program of your choosing and sit through the first 5% of the program on us. If you don't like it, please request a refund at that time. If you love it which we know you will simply keep going. You can request a refund to the CrimeLab Product under the following conditions: You have not exceeded 5% of that single initial program of your choosing. You have not downloaded any of the courses materials. You have not viewed more than one program. If after you have viewed up to 5% of a single program and you wish to request a refund please contact us at support@mcafeeinstitute.com.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable) If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at support@mcafeeinstitute.com.
If a refund is processed, you no longer have rights to any of the materials, downloads, learning’s or utilizing the learning’s in any fashion. All certificates, credentials, CPE credits, etc will be deleted from our system and you hereby agree to delete them from your possession (if applicable) and not utilize them in any fashion, such as on social networks, resumes, employment purposes, research etc. Any violation of this agreement will be enforced by “Applicable Law” such as international, federal, state or local laws, statutes, ordinances, regulations or court orders. the law.

Course/Certification Questions
Board Certification Pre-Requisites
Each of our board certifications have certain eligibility requirements for you to be able to hold the certification and credential. This information is contained on the course page if you scroll down to where it says eligibility requirements as seen below
Renewal / Recertification
You have to renew your board certification every two years once you earn your credentials. There is a $125 fee to renew for an additional 2 years and you have to earn CPE credits as part of the renewal. Feel free to visit this link to learn more about our renewal process and what it entails.
Exam Extensions
Exam Licenses are Valid for 1 Year from Purchase. You can purchase a new exam license for $450 if yours has expired.
We do not offer exam license extensions unless there is an extenuating circumstance ie major life event that has prevented you from sitting for the exam over the course of an entire year. Such circumstances might include but not limited to is
Major Medical Issues that required treatment over the year. An immediate death of a family member such as a child or spouse. You were deployed in the Military
If one of these situations have arisen in your life and you need an extension jump into chat with us or email us at support@mcafeeinstitute.com. To request an extension you will need to provide suitable documentation.
We provide a 2 month extension on the exam for those that qualify from the date it expired. If you need longer than that or did not have one of these major life events then you will need to purchase a new exam license here.
Note: We do not provide exam extensions, on the basis that you have just not had time to complete it.
What Happens When My Credential Expires?
In short, no. Your credential will not be deleted. You - and others who want to view your certificate - will still be able to see your credential. The main change to it's appearance will be a faded overlay, and a notification that tells viewers that the credential is currently expired. We do this so that it is immediately clear to employers, or evaluators what the status of the credential is.
Can I Still Make Changes to My Credentials
Yes, you can still make modifications like 'Add Evidence', 'Request a Name Change', or 'Change Privacy'. If you do make changes to your credential, remember that your credential will still appear with the expired notification until it is renewed.
What Can I No Longer Do?
You will no longer be able to add an expired credential to your email signature, Linkedin profile, resume, or promote that you are certified by McAfee Institute etc. You will still be able to download a PDF copy of your certificate, but it will have a stamp communicating the date on which it expired and that it has been revoked.
How Can I Renew My Credential?
The best way to renew your credential is to pay your renewal fee and report your CPE credits here.
Exam Passed, Now What?
How do I know if I passed my exam?
After taking the board exam it will tell you if you passed. However if you did not follow the directions and complete the course in its entirety 99% prior to sitting for the exam it might not tell you. If upon completing the exam your course was not 100% complete, you need to go back and make sure every module and lesson is complete and marked with a green check mark and that all of your assignments have been submitted, all quizzes have been successfully passed, and your exam application has been submitted. Once that is done your course will be 100% complete and it will issue you a temp digital credential. Then upon board approval you will receive your diploma in the mail in about 3-4 weeks.

Attendance Monitoring Policy
Participation and attendance reporting is the basis for determining whether Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits will be issued for participation in McAfee Institute training.
Pursuant to National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) rules, McAfee Institute is required to maintain records showing an individual's attendance and participation in our programs. During the training program periodic online quizzes, assignments, labs and Q & A will be used to assess continuous participation and to evaluate the program's effectiveness. Our system also monitors the length in which videos and lessons are digested.
Participation and Attendance Reporting Requirements:
Registration is on a per-person basis. To qualify for CPE credit, you must be registered for the program as an individual and login individually. The McAfee Institute employs real time monitoring via our LMS and Webinar Training Solutions through GotoTraining to verify that participants are engaged for the duration of the course.
Compliant Students
Compliant
Students in compliance will be issued a certificate of completion and the CPE credits appropriate for their participation in a McAfee Institute program.
Non- Compliance
If a student is found to not be engaged, does not participate or is shown in active during the training program, the student will not be issued the appropriate CPE credits for the training nor a certificate of completion.
No refunds are issued for non-compliant students due to the failure on their part for attending our programs.
